Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Tolo, I found myself enchanted by the blend of tradition and modernity in the area. With the serene backdrop of the Kastraki peninsula, rich in history and natural beauty, it offered a truly authentic experience. I enjoyed leisurely walks along the pristine Plaka Drepanou beach, soaking up the sun and immersing myself in the crisp, clear waters that the region is famous for. The local open-air market held every Wednesday and Saturday provided a delightful opportunity to interact with farmers and artisans, showcasing the freshest produce and handmade goods. It's a great spot to capture a slice of local life. Exploring the picturesque ending at Nafplio was a highlight too. This charming city, with its historical monuments, like the Palamidi fortress, combined rich history with a relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for both exploration and relaxation. For those looking to unwind at the beach or delve into local culture, this region provides an invitation to discover the heart of Greece. It was a refreshing experience, and I'm eager to return.
